Keith Higson

Keith commenced work in the accountancy profession in 1975. After successfully completing his training contract with a three partner firm of chartered accountants in Manchester & he qualified as a chartered accountant in 1979.

Throughout the majority of his career he has been involved in general practice work, although valuable audit and ‘big firm’ experience was gained during his time spent overseas with ‘Big 4’ firms immediately after qualifying, working at Coopers & Lybrand in Holland and at Ernst & Whinney in Jersey.

He returned to the UK in the mid-1980’s working at partner level assisting a wide variety of clients and has been instrumental in the development of the current practice. He enjoys the ‘hands on’ contact working closely with SME businesses, contributing & assisting in their continuing growth.

Outside work Keith’s main interests revolve around sports & music. A Bolton Wanderers season ticket holder he still makes regular visits to the Macron Stadium. Although a soul man at heart you may see him at varied music gigs in the area!
